Zidane finished La Liga on a high despite losing it by a point. There are many positives to take. For example, Madrid became the first ever team in La Liga to win their last 12 matches. Zidane took a stunning 53 points from the 20 games Madrid played under him. Madridistas witnessed some unreal moments under Zizou's leadership. Zidane brought the perfect combination of attack and defence to this Madrid side. Zidane made some bold choices by benching James Rodriguez and Isco in important games like El Clasico.

PLAYERS ZIDANE BROUGHT BACK IN FORM!

1. CRISTIANO RONALDO:

Madridistas saw the unsual sight of Ronaldo running with Jordi Alba in his own half defending an over the top ball, winning a freekick for a foul on himself. That was the most unobserved version of CR7 Madridistas had ever seen. Even the commentators during El Clasico were surprised. CR7 has been in sensational form in Liga since Zidane's appointment. Ronaldo has scored 21 goals in Liga under Zidane. Ronaldo has become more of a leader under Zizou's guidance. Under Benitez Ronaldo's performance was dipping match by match. If Madrid win UCL, CR7 may have a good shot at the Ballon D'OR.

2. GARETH BALE:

In Zidane's first match as Madrid's head coach, Bale scored a stunning hattrick against Deportivo La Coruna. Bale has been performing a level up under Zizou. Bale has notched 10 goals in Liga under Zidane. Bale also stepped in important games in CR7's absence. Gareth scored the winners against Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad, both away games. With proper management and guidance like that of Zidane, Bale could prove that he can be a successor to CR7.

3. CRARVAJAL:

Under Benitez, Carvajal struggled to made an impact and was second choice right-back. Since Zidane's arrival, Carvajal has been more dangerous than ever, dominating that right wing, combining with Bale and CR7. Under Zizou, Carvajal again became the first-choice RB, thus stepping out of Danilo's shadow. Recently, Carvajal has been earning praises for his performances. Madridistas believe they have the best RB in the world.

Madrid did what they possibly could but it is always to have your own fate in your hands, but sadly that wasn't the case . With Suarez putting all the hopes to bed for Madrid by scoring a hattrick against Granada, Madrid players were left disappointed after defeating Deportivo. But I was astonished by the tactics Zidane used. For example, in the first 20 minutes I was flabbergasted with the frequent switching of wings and even center forward position by BBC. Even Benzema was playing on the left and sometimes right wing. That was too impressive tactics. Changing wings is always a good strategy for confusing defenders but a team's main striker taking part in it makes it magnificient. this shows versatility of Benzema. Deportivo were unable to cope up with CR7, Bale and Benzema's ever changing positions. Madridistas hope that Zidane stays with Madrid for a long time, there is a mutual feeling that the club is moving in right direction under Zidane. If Madrid can replicate the performance of their last 12 fixtures in La Liga they can surely win it next year.

6 days! Just 6 days are left for the much awaited UCL 2016 Final but it today's news is surely not a good one! Real Madrid centre-back Raphael Varane is a major doubt for the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid on Saturday because of injury.The club confirmed the 23-year-old has"a grade two injury in the left thigh muscle" - but did not specify a timeline for his return.
Spanish media report that he will miss the San Siro final, and is a doubt for France's first Euro 2016 match.Les Bleus face Romania in the tournament opener on Friday, 10 June.
Madrid said Varane's "recovery will continue to be assessed," but he is likely to be sidelined for about three weeks because of the ailment.

La Liga's last fixtures were the most important matches for both FCB and Real Madrid. Both won their respective matches but due to one point lead, FC Barcelona lifted the La Liga Trophy. Zidane had a post match conference in which he discussed how the team is preparing for the UCL final physically as well as mentally. Real Madrid will want to win the UCL to not go trophyless this season also. Same is the case with Atletico Madrid! Here is what Zidane said about the CL Final :

CL Final is a 50-50. Now, the important thing is to rest mentally. To be with the family and not think about football for 2 days.

When asked about team's performance in La Liga, Zidane said:

My team fighting until the last second in the league makes me very proud of everyone. I am proud of what players have did and with what we are doing. We have never lowered our arms and fought until the very end.We are a bit disappointed how the league season ended after the immense effort our players put in.

When he was asked about Gareth Bale's playing position, he clearly mentioned that:

Nothing will change, he will stay on the right but Yes! During the game, changes in position may occur. Ronaldo took a knock on his foot. Our idea is to play bale on the right more, where he is comfortable.

We can now think of the CL final. We will go for it. I am very proud of my players and the people who make up this great team. We are fortunate to be in the Champions League Final and nlw we will rest and then prepare well for it.

As we all know about the rumors about James Rodriguez leaving the club, today a news from 'Daily Star' suggest that Real Madrid has offered James Roudriguez to manchester United for 60M Pounds! A very shocking news came today that made every single football fan cry. Not only Real Madrid fans but all other football fans are shocked with this tragedic news today. Real Madrid will play the last match of this La Liga season today against Deportivo but the team is shocked by the news of the ISIS attack on their supporters club in Iraq!

As per the local news, 16 are known to have died and 20 wounded badly. The attack happened when the supporters were gathered at a club. The ISIS terrorists entered the room where the fans were gathered and opened fire, resulting in 16 casualties and 20 others wounded! The whole world is shocked by this news.
The incident happened here at Al Furat, a cafe in Balad, situated in the north of Bagdad. ISIS is associated with this brutal attack, confirmed by the local news agency, Amaq. This news agency is associated with t Jihadi group.
An eyewitness Ahmed Tha'er said:

We were around 50 fans of Real Madrid, gathered in a cafe in Balad in order to discuss our arrangement for tomorrow's team football match. Suddenly, six armed men stormed into the cafe and started to shoot randomly on the young men. I laid down on the ground."

Real Madrid players will wear black armbands as a sign of respect for those who suffered this attack. The club said:

The club expresses its great sadness and offers its regards and condolences to the families and friends of the victims," Real Madrid said in a statement Friday. Real Madrid extends all of its solidarity to the people of Iraq, who suffer the excessive injustices of extreme violence

Atletico de Madrid will face Real Madrid on May 28th where they will seek to grab their first CL title but the road is not east as 10 times UCL winners are in front of them. Undoubtedly, it will be a tough clash. Fernando Torres, ex-Chelsea star and currently playing in Atletico Madrid on loan from Milan is hopeful that the final will be different from any other match that has ever happened between both the clubs!
